Worm Farms

There are a number of small and hobby farm producers in the North East Region. There is no economic outlook for the industry at this stage.

There is potential for worm producers as the recycling of industrial waste, dairy farming solid and liquid waste, and use of waste water become a more significant concerns to the community.

Some local government areas are currently involved in trialling worm activities.
