1. Description of Product:

Raw mustard seed is used to produce a range of coarsely ground prepared mustards, herbal vinegars and salad dressings; all from home grown produce.

Herbs, horseradish, chilli and garlic are also grown in very small quantities to contribute to niche market products.

2. Location of the Industry:

The sole grower/producer/processor in this industry is located at Milawa.

This business operates as a family orientated husband & wife team with casual assistance on a regular basis for selling, harvest and processing.

7 tonnes of raw seed is produced from 8-12 ha. The raw seed is then processed into 240g jars of prepared mustard. 64,800 jars are produced.
