About the Awards
The Australian Alpine Valleys Agribusiness Awards were held each year in celebration of the innovation and entrepreneurship displayed by agribusinesses throughout North East Victoria.
2010 Innovation Awards Winners Announced
The final AAVAF Innovations and Entrepreneurship Awards held in 2010 were presented at a gathering of over 80 community and agribusiness leaders on Wednesday October 13th at Waddington's of Kergunyah.

Awards dinner guest speaker, Mr Ian Halliday, Managing Director of Dairy Australia presented the AAVAF commissioned Dairy Report to the gathering and spoke of opportunities to grow dairy in the Upper North East catchment area, major dairy contracts recently signed with Danone and Woolworths and a leasing model to enable young farmers to enter the dairy industry.
